Our world-class aviation museum was the recent focus of a state-wide Sydney forum on the challenges and experiences in attracting, educating, retaining and motivating and empowering volunteers where this video neatly sums up who and what we are HARS. We are all volunteers!
Held at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum on 30 November, our video presentation "Keeping Australia's Aviation Flying" was very well received by over 200 delegates from museums around New South Wales (NSW).
Please enjoy our video compiled by Tim May and presented at the Forum by Doug Philpott and Ian Badham, all long-time volunteers always eager to highlight what is a very unique place indeed, the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society (HARS) Aviation Museum at Albion Park, 100 kms south of Sydney.
