Joining Dan & Gaz on this one are avid Boston fan Garrett and one of Boston's top pitching prospects - David Sandlin!

The Red Sox had a much improved season in 2025, finishing with a record of 89-73 which meant a 3rd place finish in a very competitive AL East!

They made it to the Wildcard Series and faced off against fellow AL East rivals, the New York Yankees - losing a tight contest 2-1.

Boston were one of the BDB team's sneaky picks heading into the 2025 season and a big reason for that was the acquisition of Garrett Crochet. Crochet led from the front on the mound and was well worth the prospects given up in that trade with the Chicago White Sox. In addition, Brayan Bello took a massive step forward in his development as a starter and young guns Payton Tolle and Connelly Early showed what the Red Sox could have to look forward to in 2026!

On the positional side the biggest talk of the season was the trading away of star slugger Rafael Devers to the San Francisco Giants. With the other big acquisition of Alex Bregman filling the 3B slot, Devers was not content with just being a DH and in the end he found himself on the other side of the country just a month into the season!

With the likes of Roman Anthony, Marcelo Mayer and Kristian Campbell coming through and showing a lot of slug and glove, the future could be bright for the Boston Red Sox!

But what does 2026 actually have in store for the Red Sox?
