Virgin Media, Donate for Dementia Week: Nora Owen on The Tonight Show

Описание: All this week, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is teaming up with Virgin Media Television for a special ‘Donate For Dementia’ week of activity to raise much-needed awareness and vital funds for the charity to support people with all forms of dementia which affects half a million Irish families.

Our advocate and former Justice Minister Nora Owen spoke on The Tonight Show on Virgin Media One about her experience caring for her husband Brian who lived with dementia and sadly passed away last November.

As part of 'Donate for Dementia' week and to celebrate the premiere of the moving 'Finding Jack Charlton' documentary, thousands of people, families, clubs and businesses are taking on the 'Jump For Jack Challenge' and doing as many Jumping Jacks as they can.
We then ask that you share your videos on social media, donate and nominate a friend or family member.

All money raised from the ‘Donate for Dementia’ week long campaign will be specifically used to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland’s frontline dementia services and help support the 64,000 people with dementia in Ireland today including our day care centres, our information unit and our Alzheimer's National Helpline.
Fundraising is vital for The ASI to keep vital supports and services running.
