First warm day in a long time here in Rochester, NY. Feeling inspired and hopeful that the season change is on the way.
I've been reading about the American Hobo recently, learning about the history, culture, and writings of those who contributed so much to Americana.
My pipe is a Leonessa Mario with Peterson's Sherlock Holmes.
Today I'll share a reading from On The Fly - Hobo Literature & Songs 1879-1941, an anthology edited by Iain McIntyre. The selection, Only a Tramp, believed to be written in the 1890s, is by an unknown author .
