Mirid bug is one the most dangerous pests of sesame crop. It is a sucking pest which takes sap from leaves, twigs and flowers of sesame crop plants. It weakens and discolours the leaves of sesame plants.
For the success of the sesame crop, our growers should keep an eye on this pest. It can be managed or controlled easily by easily available chemicals but the most important thing is its scouting and farmers vigilance. Following are the chemicals which can be sprayed on these crop plants in order to get rid of the mirid bug.

1) Regent 80%wg by Bayer Pakistan company with spray dose of 30 grams per acre

2) Bolton by Swat agro company with spray dose of 200 ml per acre

3) Clothinaden by any company with spray dose of 200 ml per acre

4) Chlophenapyre by Swat agro company with the insecticide product name "Pirate" or by Sayban International company with chemical or insecticide product name "Bolt" with dose of 100 ml per acre

5) Imedacloprid by any company with a foliar spray dose of 250 grams per acre

Rapeat spray is required for complete control on this pest.
