Welcome to Our Farming Journey Series | Episode 2.
On the 13th of January, we ordered 90 Lohmann Brown day-old chicks, and on the 21st of January at 4:00am, we set out to pick them up.
In this episode, I take you along on the early morning trip, show how we safely picked and brought the chicks home, and how I improvised to keep them warm. I also give updates on the chicks and my 3-week-old turkeys, talk about record-keeping with the Akuafoplus Farm Management App, and explain how farming has become my way of unwinding after programming.
