Nothing better than Fried Cheese! I show you how to make this simple, melty and delicious Wisconsin style Cheese Curds. Found at State fairs throughout the Midwest (nod to Minnesota) but found in my travels to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I'll show you the simple flavorful way to make Cheese Curds and the secret to keeping them from melting out!
Ingredients:
8-16oz Cheese curds (found in most supermarket's specialty cheese section) or local cheese shop
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1tsp salt
3/4 cup beer (IPA or lager preferred)
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
2 cups oil for frying (vegetable or corn oil preferred)
