Описание: "On Air Down Under" is a story of an English-speaking boy who accepts the challenge of doing a radio show in another language. This short docu-drama shows his journey. In the Indian diaspora or any other diaspora for that matter, kids often adapt to the local language and eventually, their mother tongue takes a back seat. So, questions that always get asked are "Is mother tongue important?" And if it is then "Why?"

"ऑन एअर डाउन अंडर" ही एका इंग्रजी भाषिक मुलाची कथा आहे जो दुसर्‍या भाषेत रेडिओ शो करण्याचे आव्हान स्वीकारतो. हा लघुपट त्याचा प्रवास दाखवतो. भारतीय डायस्पोरा किंवा इतर कोणत्याही डायस्पोरामध्ये, मुले अनेकदा स्थानिक भाषेशी जुळवून घेतात आणि शेवटी, त्यांची मातृभाषा मागे पडते. तर, नेहमी विचारले जाणारे प्रश्न म्हणजे "मातृभाषा महत्वाची आहे का?" आणि असेल तर "का?"
