Sydney Train Spotting 1989 - Inter Capital Daylight - XPT - Sydney Terminal Central

Описание: Part 2 A G class swaps ends with the Inter Capital Daylight Express,helped by the 73 class yard shunter and many other great captures in clouding cleaning procedures of the XPT and some surprises.

As part of the normal workings that crews had to perform was the run around which was changing Ends of the train at the terminal with the help of the yard shunter.
The train would come into the station let the passengers out, then the loco would be uncoupled and the yard shunter would pull the train forward. The loco would then run into the middle road and the train pushed back into position by the shunter. The lead loco would then move forward and reattach to the other end of the train. This video and the next in this two part series, show this procedure.
