Produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Bill Kenwright, the new production of The Wizard of Oz contains all the much-loved songs from the Oscar-winning movie score including Over the Rainbow, Follow the Yellow Brick Road, If I Only Had a Heart and We're Off to See the Wizard.

Follow the yellow brick road over the rainbow to see Danielle Hope, winner of BBC TV's Over the Rainbow, step into the ruby slippers of Dorothy, the role immortalised by Judy Garland. Michael Crawford, the original Phantom of the Opera is the Wizard of Oz at The London Palladium, the capital's home of the family musical.

All the favourite Wizard of Oz characters and iconic scenes are there, plus a few surprises along the way -- with new songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice adding extra colour to the story as it moves from film to stage.

Audiences are captivated as Wizard of Oz London Palladium is transformed into the mythical Emerald City with breathtaking special effects and scenery to bring to life the real story of Oz.

An enchanting adaptation of the all-time classic, The Wizard of Oz London has been totally reconceived for the stage by the award-winning creative team who delighted audiences of all ages with their recent London Palladium revival of The Sound of Music with direction by Jeremy Sams, choreography by Arlene Phillips and sets and costumes by Robert Jones.

In addition to Danielle Hope and Michael Crawford the cast includes Sophie Evans (who is scheduled to play Dorothy on Tuesday in addition to covering the role during Hope's holidays), Edward Baker-Duly as the Tin Woodsman, David Ganly as the Cowardly Lion, Paul Keating as the Scarecrow, Hannah Waddingham as the Wicked Witch of the West and Emily Tierney as Glinda the Good Witch.
