Sudan: First flight evacuating British nationals leaves the country in route to Cyprus

Описание: The first flight carrying UK nationals has left Sudan en route to Cyprus to the RAF Akrotiri military base. The number of people aboard has not been confirmed. Two more flights are expected overnight.

The commanding officer of the 903 expeditionary air wing, Wing Cdr Richard Fawkes has said the main challenge they are expecting is the "very dynamic changing nature of the picture on the ground"
