Bible Journaling | Gratitude Journaling | Prayer Journal is an essential tool to help believers grow in our faith and prayer life.

I must admit that I’ve been doodling, jotting things down, writing out my favorite Bible scriptures, and writing my thoughts down for at least 20 years now. I’m no professional journey journal by any means, but as you’ll see, it is a way that I express faith creatively, with no special bible journaling tools, just me, a pen, a sheet of paper, and a matchless God.

Over the years, I’ve come to find that spending additional time with God in my bible journal has been like a best friend who pays your rent EVERY month. No questions asked. No debt owed, she just writes the check, signs it, and sends it off. She doesn’t even stick around for you to say thank you. Sounds crazy right? I’m being dramatic here, but sharing my thoughts on paper with God, about God, and from God, has been an astounding Gratitude miracle in my life.

I love skimming through my old journals, it’s like a treasure hunt¬~ and it is here that I get to see the thumbprint of God. My journals are prophetic! The Lord says something and a year later (Bam!) it happens, and I have my own writing, written with my own penmanship to prove it.

Here’s the bottom line, if you want to improve your relationship with God then Bible Journaling, Prayer Journal, Gratitude Journaling, writing out your goals and plans in your Daily Planner, however you choose to label it or title it, is truly for you!

There’s no way that you will remember everything that the Holy Spirit says or directs, if you don’t write it down. How else do you think we ended up with the greatest Journal on earth, which is called the Holy Bible?

Okay-okay, I won’t try to convince you any further, just know that spending time with Jesus and our heavenly Father in the form of Journaling is very...I’m trying to come up with a holy word here, but the only word that comes to my mind is, COOL!
