Motorists in Lagos are bracing for traffic adjustments as the Lagos State Government has announced a four-week partial closure of the Lagos–Abeokuta Expressway to allow the Federal Ministry of Works carry out rehabilitation on key sections of the road. The works, covering the stretch from U-Turn Bus Stop to Sango Tollgate and affecting both inbound and outbound lanes, will be executed in two phases to minimise disruption. Commissioner for Transportation Oluwaseun Osiyemi says diversion plans are in place, but commuters are expected to experience delays as repairs begin.
