This 1809/8 Capped Bust Half Eagle is a truly special coin. This exquisite coin has been graded MS63 by PCGS many years ago. There is a pop of only 21 examples in MS63 and she boasts a PCGS Price guide of 32,500. She is in an old green holder and has been graded to old grading standards. If this coin would be able to upgrade to a MS64 we are talking a $65K price guide. Either way this example has a rich golden-orange hue with a shimmering luster and no major distracting markings.
