Today we are walking through the old Renaissance château in the town of Montrésor, in central France. Originally an 11th century medieval fortress, the castle as we see it today was built in the 15th century, while the interiors were redone in the 1800s by an exiled Polish noble family, the Branickis. The grounds as well as the town of Montrésor itself are also beautiful, a great place to wander and get lost.
