How to make casting slip from any ceramics clay body

Описание: in this video I am showing you how I made ceramics casting natural clay slip. You will need soda ash, sodium silicate (water glass) and any ceramics natural clay slip. It is better to strain/filter the slip first, so it is even and smooth. in the black bucket is clay mud/slip, dry clay powder and water, about 2:1 ratio. this will be too thick to pour for slip casting, and crack as it's drying in plaster mold. Therefore, adding +/_0.05% of Sodium Silicate/water glass deflocculates the clay molecules so they repel each other and become liquid again without adding anymore water. This is Casting slip and if done right, this casting mud/slip will not crack as it dries in the plaster mold. The purpose is to be used in making ceramics clay products using #slip casting method in #plastermolds.
