Ranking & Reviewing Every Guillermo Del Toro Film (Including Frankenstein)

Описание: Happy (late) Halloween! So not too long ago, the legendary filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro put out his latest film in theaters, that being the latest in a long, long history of adaptations of the classic Mary Shelley novel, Frankenstein! This has been one of the most highly anticipated films of this year, given just how much respect Del Toro himself has earned as a director, being probably one of the most acclaimed directors of the 21st century. His movies are incredibly distinctive, usually offering some great dark fantasy storytelling that generally goes in tandem with very real world issues and events, which has earned him the admiration of cinephiles all over. He's also the founder of the animation is cinema movement which unfortunately was pretty much completely retooled and misinterpreted in all the wrong ways by some of the worst accounts on Twitter imaginable. So today, I thought it would be fun, and very fitting given this spooky time of year, it being Halloween, to rank all the films of the monster man himself while also giving my in depth thoughts on them. Guillermo Del Toro is easily one of my personal favorite directors out there, and he's been highly requested for me to discuss more in general here on the channel, so this seems like a ranking tailor made for me in a lot of ways. And now that I've officially seen his latest film, and all of his other ones, it seems like a good time to do this. So without further ado, let's rank all the films of Guillermo Del Toro, the man, the myth, the legend himself.
