Originally produced in 2007 to mark the 40th anniversary of RMS Queen Mary's retirement and her arrival into Long Beach, California from her LAST GREAT CRUISE from Southampton, England. The Queen Mary had a beautiful 31 year career, both as a Trans-Atlantic ocean liner from 1936 to 1939, then 1946 to 1967, and as a military troop transport from 1939 to 1946.
This video was one of my personal creations that I produced for my other channel, Blue Riband Productions (now known as the Blue Riband Channel @getting_there_is_half_the_fun ) and was loved by many, many viewers. I have had to remove the video from BRC, however it has given me a chance to enhance the quality and resolution to 1080p HD. (Thank you @AlextheHistorian )
