GRAMMY-nominated producer, engineer and songwriter Steven Weston teams up with singer-songwriter Låpsley on a chilled rework of their track ‘Like I Used To’.

Steven first landed on Anjunadeep in 2021 with his stellar collaboration ‘Like I Used To’ featuring British indie-electronica artist Låpsley. Since then he has gone on to collaborate across several label releases with the likes of RHODES, Arctic Lake and fellow London-based singer-songwriter Ormella, racking up over 8 million streams. Alongside his successful solo project, Steven is a highly sought after engineer, producer & songwriter. With a GRAMMY nomination for his work on Rudimental’s third studio album, he has also worked with a plethora of innovative artists throughout his career such as Charli XCX, Joy Anonymous, Skrillex, Christine and the Queens, and many more. 

Låpsley rose to prominence with her critically acclaimed debut album 'Long Way Home' on XL Recordings, showcasing a distinctive blend of emotive songwriting and atmospheric electronica. Known for her haunting vocals and intimate lyricism, she has become a standout voice in the UK’s electronic and alternative scenes. Her collaborations span a wide spectrum of forward-thinking artists, including DJ Koze, ODESZA, Barry Can’t Swim and Paul Woolford, while her music has been featured across major campaigns, film, and television. A seasoned performer, Låpsley has appeared on the stages of Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, Primavera Sound and more, and her catalogue has amassed over 300 million streams globally. Continually evolving as both a vocalist and producer, she remains one of the genre’s most quietly influential talents.

The original version of ‘Like I Used To’ has become a well-loved track in the Anjunadeep catalogue, with over 9 million streams and a feature on the Anjunadeep 13 compilation. Now, Steven Weston revisits the track with a chilled, ethereal rework that slows the tempo and brings its emotional core forward.
