You can also vary the data rate and see the received output in terms of Bit error rate (BER) & Q-factor.
In the Li-Fi system the transmission of data is generally through LED's that you usually see in your rooms, traffic lights or in vehicles also.
In present times Li-fi is used in variety of applications
1) Medical & Healthcare sector
2) Indoor applications- Exam halls, Auditoriums etc.
3) Outdoor application- Vehicle to Vehicle communication, traffic lights, underwater applications and so on...
In this video you get an idea about how to simulate & design a Li-Fi model and check the results in terms of Eye Diagram , If not getting proper eye diagram then just change the values of parameters to see the variation in the desired output received. If you follow the steps while simulating your circuit the it will definitely help you in saving your time and also help you in better understanding of software.
