It is not Pat Monahan's fault that he writes monster radio-friendly hits. It's been 25 years since Drops of Jupiter and it is now OK to say that Train is awesome. If it helps, go back to the self titled release (1998) and listen to it again. You can skip 'Meet Virginia' if you must. Every track on the album is awesome. Don't skip hidden track 'Heavy'. Then listen to 'Train Does Led Zeppelin II'. These guys are fantastic.
Stop the hate. Nickelback kicks ass and you know it. So does Creed.
