Tata Steel on Thursday reported 661.3 per cent year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs. 11,918.11 crore for the quarter ended September, which was slightly above analysts’ expectations. The steelmaker reported 54.8 per cent on-year rise in consolidated total revenue from operations to Rs. 60,282.8 crore for the reported quarter, which was sharply above Street’s expectations.
