Water of Leith Walk - Relaxing 4K Walk | Bonnington to Stockbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland

Описание: Join me on a relaxing stroll up the Water of Leith Walkway in Edinburgh, from Bonnington, through St Marks Park and finishing in Stockbridge.

The Water of Leith Walkway was completed in 2002 by courtesy of Millennium Project funding. It flows through Edinburgh's outskirts and central suburbs. The walkway is managed by The City of Edinburgh Council Parks, Greenspace and Cemeteries Department who also manage many of the parks and greenspaces along the 13 mile route. The walkway provides access to many interesting sights, like the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and the Dean Gallery. To the north of Edinburgh city centre the walkway passes through Stockbridge and Bonnington. The route finishes at the Victoria Swing Bridge at the entrance to Leith Docks.
