Beekeeping | Keep Your Bees Alive During This Killer Heat Wave

Описание: Excessive heat is very hard on bees. Wax comb can melt, brood can overheat and bees leave the hive. Today I'll share 3 tips to help keep your bees cool during a country wide heat wave. Honey bees need their hive to be well ventilated on hot days. The hive also needs shade and I've got a bonus tip how to make some easy shade for your hive. Finally, keeping fresh water for your bees in very important, not because they are thirsty, but because they carry water into the hive and use it to cool the frames of brood.
