This is the first video in my newest series where I will teach you how to make a quit using the "Quilt As You Go" method from start to finish. Each episode follow along with me as I will demonstrate how to make 2 flower applique blocks. Once all the blocks are completed, I will show you how to put them all together and finish off your quilt.

✂️✂️SUPPLIES AND CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS✂️✂️
Background fabric - 1 yard (fold selvage edges together)
cut (12) 10" squares
Fabric for the back- 1 1/3 yard (fold raw edges together)
cut (12) 11 1/2" squares
Flower fabric - Select variety of colors, 1/4 yard or fat quarters (18" x 21")
Cotton batting - 1 yard
cut (12) 10" squares
Thread - green polyester, or green polyester embroidery thread
Fusible web - Pellon Lite EZ Steam II lightweight two-sided tear-away stabilizer or use thin paper
*CUT BACKGROUND FABRIC
fold selvage edges together
cut (3) strips 10 1/2"
out of each strip make 2 cuts 10"W
*CUT FABRIC FOR THE BACK
fold raw edges together
cut (3) strips 11 1/2"
out of each strip make 2 cuts 11 1/2"W
