Описание: The Toledo Museum of Art has announced a major acquisition by Dutch master Frans Hals. Family Portrait in a Landscape was introduced to the media on Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the Great Gallery. This acquisition has been in process for more than a year and is a major coup for the Museum. The public will have their first opportunity to see this glorious work on Thursday, Oct. 13 as part of a Masters Series lecture and public viewing beginning at 6 p.m. in the Peristyle. Admission is free. The lecture brings world-renowned Hals scholar Pieter Biesboer to Toledo to discuss the artist's work and this acquisition in particular.
