🧄 Ingredients:
• Dahi (Curd)
• Besan (Gram flour)
• Red chilli powder
• Haldi (Turmeric)
• Namak (Salt)
• Water
• Oil
• Jeera (Cumin seeds)
• Rai (Mustard seeds)
• Heeng (Asafoetida)
• Crushed dry coriander seeds
• Methi seeds
• Ghee
• Dry red chilli
• Kadhi patta (Curry leaves)
🍳 Method:
1. Take dahi in a bowl
2. Add besan, red chilli powder, haldi, and salt
3. Mix well to remove lumps
4. Add water and whisk until smooth
5. Heat oil in a kadhai
6. Add jeera, rai, heeng, crushed coriander, and methi seeds
7. Strain and add the besan-dahi mixture to the kadhai
8. Cook on medium flame, stirring occasionally
9. Meanwhile, prepare the tadka
10. For tadka, heat ghee and add dry red chilli, curry leaves, and red chilli powder
11. Pour the hot tadka over the cooked kadhi
Serve hot with steamed rice or khichdi for a comforting meal.
