In today’s episode, I will be range testing a Chinese reproduction of the 1863 Springfield rifle musket. The test I will be conducting today is can you still be accurate with a rifle musket when the rear sight is missing. The second test I will be conducting is how reliable can a Civil War musket be in freezing temperatures. The range ranges I will be firing at our 25, 50, and 75 yards  on a man’s size target. The projectile that will be used for this test is the legendary Minié Ball (.575 diameter) used on both sides of the Civil War. Let’s see if we can still take down Paper Pete with the lack of a rear sight.
