In this live session with Yorgos, we see actor Pierre-Henry (PH) Dutrieux demonstrate the advanced principles of embodied acting. His central inquiry was how to more openly trust and follow his impulses in real time. Exploration of the scene began with navigating the emotional landscape of the character and through that he landed into a place of truly embodied acting; cultivating presence moment to moment, and allowing this to be a vehicle for his performance. This process was a masterful demonstration on how to uncover deep vulnerability and create an impactful performance with physical ease and emotional authenticity, which translates beautifully to camera.
