I left Elmina Castle excited to relax for the evening after learning about the castle's horrifying history… but what was supposed to be a smooth check-in turned into a little adventure 😅.
I booked what I thought was Elmina Bay Resort on Expedia, but when I arrived, the gate said Anomansa Beach Resort at Elmina Bay!
Between the untarred road, the name change and confusion at reception, it was quite the experience.
