This incredible, untouched area of the Chippewa National Forest was accidentally missed by logging surveyors over a century ago, preserving a stunning stand of virgin pine trees that are over 300 years old!

Interpreting the Past: I walk the interpretive trail, narrating the signs to share the amazing story of how this area was "lost" and why it remains a unique ecological time capsule.
Massive Pines: Get a close look at the colossal, old-growth pines and the unique biodiversity of this protected area.
Above the Canopy: We capture breathtaking drone footage soaring high over the immense pine canopy, giving you a perspective of the forest you can't get on the ground.
