I share my thoughts on why quality matters and what has helped my channel grow as well as the importance of mixing quality and quantity to make an amazing viewer experience.

Some people focus on quality, and even make that part of their channel statement. For example, Kurzgesagt (    / kurzgesagt   ). At the time of this upload they only have 56 videos. They update once a month...and the content is amazing and that strong focus on quality has gained them over 3.5 million subscribers.

On the other hand, you have other channels that upload hundreds of videos but don't get any traction at all. Is it because the quality of the videos isn't up to par? Do they not interact with their community? Are their videos not interesting? Quantity, in that case, loses the race.

Now, if you can mix quantity with quality, you can make an awesome channel that people will love to watch and be a part of. Focusing on the quality of your content and making sure it's as good as it can be with every upload can indeed be the determining factor on if your channel grows.
