A practically empty AC Transit bus ride in some of Oakland's greatest neighborhoods along Grand Ave and Linda Ave, some of which is concentrated in the Town of Piedmont.
The 12 passes by the Grand Lake Theatre and Lake Merritt, providing gorgeous views for people who happen to not have their face buried in a screen.
The 12 is also one of the few lines to run along Piedmont Ave, one of Oakland's finest neighborhoods. The 12 also passes the Temescal Neighborhood and Temescal Plaza. With so many restaurants and shops along Grand and Piedmont, the 12 is a great way to reach hundreds of places from Berkeley and Downtown Oakland.
