Staged Accident: On January 9, 2026, the victim (an assistant professor at a private medical college) was riding her scooter when two individuals on a motorcycle intentionally rammed into her near Vinayak Ghat by the KC Canal.

The Attack: As the victim fell and sustained injuries, the attackers approached her under the guise of offering help. While pretending to assist her into an autorickshaw, the primary accused, B. Boya Vasundhara, allegedly injected her with a syringe containing HIV-positive blood.

Victim's Reaction: The victim immediately sensed foul play and raised an alarm, causing the attackers to flee the scene.
