Every day, Community Health Workers provide quality home care to thousands of B.C. seniors – allowing them to stay independent, and age with dignity in their homes.
It’s a challenging job that requires care and compassion as well as professional knowledge and skills. Sadly, these workers don’t have guaranteed paid hours, and are denied other benefits that many health care workers receive.
