Just one day earlier we decided to do this trek as one of our trekking event got cancelled. We were searching for some tough activity to do this time and that too easily accessible by train.
This fort is at 7.5 km from Vangani station and 9km from Badlapur station . We arrived at Vangani and saw this huge pointed shaped hills and soon knew this was going to be fun.
We purposely went off the trail to test ourself and explore this peak. we climbed Mahismal Pinnacle without rope, which was the riskiest climb we have ever done, only because of the loose mud on rock patches. Later we climbed Chanderi fort which was a thrilling and fun.
While descending we took waterfall route and then ran for 4kms to reach Badlapur station to get last train.
Pinnacle climb is only recommend if u have required gears. Here at pinnacle few fatalities have been reported due to its Risky climb.
Tahuli peak, Malanggad are visible from here. Many experienced and bignner trekkers have lost their way in jungle and have been rescued. So always come in group or take guide.
