In today’s training session, Bear worked on gate manners and impulse control, focusing on staying in a sit while the gate is opened—without popping up or rushing out. This skill is essential for safety and helps prevent door-dashing behaviors at home.
Gate work like this teaches dogs patience, self-control, and how to wait for permission before moving forward. Bear is doing a great job learning that calm behavior opens doors—literally!
