The Rhodotron® TT300-HE goes to its final destination!
After being tested for several months in one of our underground vaults, the first Rhodotron® TT300-HE has now left the IBA factory to go to its final destination, at Northstar, Wisconsin, USA.
The rigging of the high-energy accelerator gives the start to a new milestone of this promising project !
By using high-energy electrons from the Rhodotron® to produce molybdenum-99, Northstar will be able to avoid the use of uranium and propose an innovant and optimized way to deliver technetium-99, the most widely used radio-isotope for medical diagnostics.
