Headline celebrities for this year's festive theatrical include Christopher Maloney of 2012 X-Factor finalist fame as the Prince, Daniella Westbrook (Sam Mitchell from Eastenders) as Fairy Sparkle, Tony Adams from Crossroads as King Egbert the Oval, and Christopher Marlowe (recent Come Dine With Me winner) as Queen Gertie the Gorgeous, as well as Heart FM presenter Warren Hayden as Lord Chamberlain.
Helen Kent, who'll be playing the titular Sleeping Beauty, was laid on her bed of prolonged rest and carried down Albert Road outside the Kings Theatre during the press launch, receiving a kiss from her Prince which of course, as the infamous fairytale goes, drew her out of her slumber.
