(Filmed 12/21/25) It's not common to find a Montgomery elevator inside a small office building like this, particularly those with the VFD floor indicator. This one in particular is very interesting. However, I cannot tell whether this is a traction or a hydro, since this serves 3 floors and has certain attributes associated with a hydro, such as the low oil warning light on the call station, but it feels like a traction. I also cannot hear the motor at all to tell the difference.
Well, this was an interesting experience! Good to see these once in a while.
