What a finish! In a nail-biter of a Consolation Bracket Championship, the Nuggets edged out the Bulls in a 21–20 thriller — thanks to a game-winning shot by Apollo Henry-Grandison (#8) with just 4.8 seconds left on the clock! 🏆⏱️
The Bulls, coached by Tim Spitler, came out strong with a balanced offensive attack and held a slim 13–4 lead at halftime, fueled by scoring from Finnegan Russell, Leo Wokas, and Peter Hager.
But the second half belonged to the Nuggets. Apollo Henry-Grandison was the spark, finishing with 11 points and showing incredible poise under pressure. Teammates Arlo Kostempski (#22) and Dominic Burger (#5) added key buckets as Coach Jess Torres rallied her team to storm back in the final minutes.
It was a fitting end to an exciting season, with both teams showing growth, grit, and sportsmanship. Congrats to the Nuggets on taking the Consolation crown — and hats off to the Bulls for an incredible effort!
