AquaEye Reach is an accessory for AquaEye. It extends the use of the device to contexts where it is difficult for the user to put a hand in the water to operate the otherwise handheld device.
In this video, Erik from VodaSafe walks us through how to attach AquaEye to AquaEye Reach, how to conduct a scan and other important things to note when using AquaEye Reach.
AquaEye Reach helps in several scenarios:
When scanning from a raised position, like a dock
When scanning over the side of a boat with high sides
When scanning through a hole in the ice
When the water is contaminated or otherwise harmful to human skin
When there are things that bite present in the water

Note: These instructions are for the manual-tensioning version of AquaEye Reach. If you were an early adopter your AquaEye Reach may attach differently to AquaEye. If you do not have a tensioning wheel at the top of your device please refer to the instructions for the Auto-Tensioning AquaEye Reach.
