HOW TO MAKE:
🛒 Ingredients:
Cake Batter
40g cocoa powder (½ cup)
180ml warm milk
200g all-purpose flour (1 ½ cups)
5g baking powder (1 ¼ teaspoons)
200g sugar (1 cup)
4 medium eggs (about 200g)
220g unsalted butter, softened (1 cup)
Ganache
250g milk chocolate
200ml heavy cream
Chocolate sprinkles to taste
🍳 Instructions:
Prepare the chocolate mixture
In a bowl, mix the cocoa powder with warm milk until smooth. Set aside.
Make the batter
In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
Add the eggs, butter, and the chocolate mixture.
Beat with an electric mixer for about 2 minutes, until the batter is smooth.
Bake
Pour the batter into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C / 350 °F for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Prepare the ganache
In a bowl, melt the chocolate with the heavy cream in the microwave, heating in 10-second intervals and stirring each time to avoid burning.
Mix well until smooth and shiny.
Finish
Spread the creamy ganache over the cooled cake.
Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top as desired.
