Cabinet has approved the repatriation of 2,400 Ugandans currently trapped in 66 countries following restrictions imposed to stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cabinet meeting chaired by the President resolved that all the returnees will be subjected to a mandatory testing and 14 day quarantine at their own cost.
However, Ugandans stuck in the neighbouring countries will have to wait until government makes arrangement for their return.
