And even at 70 years old, the property will get so difficult to be sold, that the owners will hope for one thing - SERS. But the reality is that 95% of flats weren't picked for SERS. So, what's the government thinking of next?
VERS - or the Voluntary Early Redevelopment Scheme.
But what will this mean for your old 60+, 50 or even 40 year old flats when VERS is in force from 2030 onwards? Will it affect your property price? Will you "strike lottery"? Do you need to top up a lot? Well, what we don’t know could hurt us. So I made this video to shed some light on VERS.
