Welcome to Episode 55 of our B1 English series! Today, Anna and Lukas are feeling very curious. They are spying on their new neighbor. To talk about their secrets, they need to use Indirect Questions (also called Embedded Questions).
In this episode, we teach you the golden rule of English politeness: When you start a question with "Do you know..." or "I wonder...", the rest of the sentence changes back to normal subject-verb order! You MUST drop the helper verbs (do/does/did). We also explain how to use "If" or "Whether" for Yes/No questions.
