A Moving Deformable Barrier impact at 38.5 Mph/61 Km/h. Both occupants on the impacted side are 50th Percentile Male SID/Hyb III dummies. The MDB weighs 3015lbs (1368kg). This test included the addition of a child occupant in the right rear position to gather child restraint and occupant injury data. This test was not used to gather a star rating for NHTSA's NCAP program.
