Hiii everyone. Sorry again for going months without uploading.. it’s funny I actually thought I’d be posting more often this summer cause I had all these ideas for Ted Lasso/tedbecca vids and was like omg we’ll have such good footage after season 3 and the finale, I’m gonna want to vid my favourite show and characters etc etc… LOL WELP clearly that won’t be happening anymore as that show is now dead to me… such a shame. Obviously I won’t get into it here but if I’m ever able to gather my strength and finish one of my multiple started tedbecca vids.. you bet I’ll be writing a whole ass essay on why the finale was terrible for basically every character. Such a fucking joke.
ANYWAY the good thing about that show crashing and burning is that it really freed me up to start watching more shows and get a new obsession lolll. I knew I wanted to start with Starstruck, I had heard about it when I saw Rose Matafeo on a late night show and she’s just so funny and she had described how she wrote this show essentially just so she could star in her own romcom. And I was like ok yup sold!! And unlike the TL writers… when this creator says they wanted their show to be like a romcom.. they actually meant it! LMAO sorry I’m almost done being petty I swear. But seriously though I should never have trusted old straight white men to write romance… fucking never again ugh… Rose Matafeo, Quinta Brunson, Mindy Kaling, Elizabeth Meriwether, Dan Levy.. WE LOVE YOU!!! And none for Jason Sudeikis bye… (Mike Schur you are the only exception love you too foreverrrr)
LOL ok I mean it I’m done. On to the brilliance that is Starstruck and these two… ugh this show is a freaking masterpiece. Like I expected the ship to be good but I had no idea just how cute they’d really be and how genuinely amazing and hilarious this show is overall! I highly recommend it, it’s on HBO Max and I know they’ve filmed a third season so hopefully that comes out soon. These two are just such messes but so adorable… so if you’re looking for a new ship this show is so good and only has 12 episodes so you can watch it all in a day, seriously gogogoooo! I was sad that I couldn't find any fanvids of these two so I decided to make one myself... I really hope more people get into this show it deserves more love.
