The Business Entity working engaged in production, selling, trading and marketing of medicines or drugs, cosmetics are required to obtain drug license from appropriate authority. These licenses are issued by Central/State Drug Standard Control Organisation under the Drugs and cosmetics Act, 1940.

APPLICATION FORM: Application for grant of a licence to sell, stock, exhibit or offer for sale, or distribute drugs other than those specified in Schedule X Form 19 and additional information (wholesale) Drugs Licence in Form 20-B &21-B

TIMELINES FOR APPROVAL: 45 days

APPLICABLE FEES: Treasury Challan of Rs.3000/- under the Head of Account “0210-Medical and Public Health, 04-Public Health, 104-Fees and Fines

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED: 1. Appoint & joining letter of the person in charge with 2 passport size photographs if applicable
2. NOC for Stockist ship with valid GMP certificate of a modern medicine Mfg. unit ( Not Applicable in case of Private Limited Company)
3. Education qualification certificate
4. Proof of availability of cold storage facility
5. Approved layout premises (10 sq.ft -15 sq.ft)
6. Proof of ownership of the premises/tenancy agreement with proof of the ownership of the owner of the premises
7. Proof of constitution of the firm
8. Proof of Residential address and Photo identity of the applicant and person incharge.
9. Memorandum and article if applicable
10. Experience Certificate of the person incharge
