Mauser C96 Range Impressions: pistol or carbine? Now with modern hollow points and +P ammunition!

Описание: Today I take out a mixmaster Mauser C96, and try it out in both pistol and carbine format. As one of the first semiauto pistols, how does it stack up against designs we are more familiar with? Also, I decided to do something ridiculous and try to run some modern hollow points and modern +P rated ammunition through it- is this a good idea, or one that is skirting disaster(?!)
